Success in Šiauliai as robotics competitions resume!
After a long break, when no robotics competitions were held either in Latvia or in neighbouring countries, or were held under very restricted conditions because of Covid, on 9 April 2022 a robotics competition – “BATTLE OF THE SUN CITY 2022” – took place in Šiauliai, Lithuania. Representatives of the Preiļi Robotics Club also went to this competition.
The combined team of the Preiļi Robotics Club (PRK) and Robotu Skola was represented at this competition by Armands Upenieks, Matīss Buks and Aldis Buks.
In Folkrace all three prize places were won, with the robots: 1st place – “B1”, 2nd place – “Z1” and 3rd place – “MoricsW8”.
In Mini Sumo, 2nd place was won by “BOLT” and 3rd place by the robot “Preili Power”.
Thank you to the team’s supporters!
