Our team members again won several prize places this year. Matīss and Aldis Buks won 1st, 2nd and shared 4th place in the electronic Folkrace event, Rinalds Pākste won shared 4th place in the Folkrace event. In the iRobot event Edīte Meikulāne won 3rd place, while Margarita Džeriņa won 3rd place in the line following event! In the Minisumo event, pupils’ group, the robot made by Intars Matisāns and Arts Cveks won 4th place. Congratulations to the winners!
Our team took part in the drone event for the first time this year, and in this debut competition Solvita Ragauša finished 10th, with a comparatively good course time. The second competition was for our line follower with turbine – Matīss Dambītis, competing in fierce competition with the Lithuanians, finished 5th. It must be said that to reach the podium of honour, the track had to be completed 0.707 seconds faster (the closeness of the results is like in bobsleigh competitions 🙂 ).
Thank you to all the participants and to the coach-advisers Armands Upenieks, Linards Šmeiksts and Matīss Dambītis, who helped to forge our shared success!
