PRK team takes part successfully in the “Sigulda Electronics Autumn Cup 2026”
On 17 October the “Sigulda Electronics Autumn Cup 2026” competition took place at the Sigulda Municipality Youth Creativity Centre, one of the stages of the 19th Latvian Robotics Championship. The Preiļi Robotics Club (PRK) team was represented by 3 participants with 4 robots. This time our team took part only in the Mini sumo event.
The members of the Preiļi Robotics Club won:
Jānis Bērzinieks and Daniels Deiko – 2nd place in Mini sumo.
Jānis Bērzinieks and Daniels Deiko – 4th place in Mini sumo.
The competition was small but businesslike. It gave us valuable experience of robot battles on the ring. It was a good opportunity to prepare for the “RoboChallenge Romania” competition in Bucharest at the end of October.
Thank you to the pupils for their persistent work in preparing for the competition! Thank you to Daniels’s dad for the opportunity to take our team’s pupils to the competition.
Good luck in Romania!
