International robotics competition in Ignalina ends with good results
On Saturday, 1 April 2023, Preiļi Lego robot builders took part in an international robotics competition in Ignalina (Lithuania), held as part of the RoboNet project. Only a limited number of participants could be put forward for the competition, and our team was represented in the grades 5–9 group by 3 participants – Jānis Bērzinieks (JEPVĢ, 7.B), Andrejs Gžibovskis (JEPVĢ, 8.D) and Gustavs Briška (Preiļi 1st Primary School, 7.A).
The boys had prepared diligently during the school year and, as a result, deservedly won several prize places on the podium.
Andrejs Gžibovskis – 1st and 2nd place in Lego line following.
Jānis Bērzinieks – 1st place in Lego sumo and 3rd place in line following.
Gustavs Briška – 2nd place in Lego sumo.
We wish everyone success in the next competitions!
The competition was organised with the support of project RoboNet LLI-542 of the Latvia–Lithuania Cross-Border Cooperation Programme 2014–2020.
